Fast, fun and safe karting since 2016

Inverness Kart Raceway opened its doors in 2016 with one mission — to deliver fast, fun, and safe karting experiences while making a real difference in young people’s lives.

We are proud to operate as a social enterprise for the youth charity DAY1. DAY1 works to support young people across the Highlands through mentoring, personal development, and work experience programmes. Every lap you race helps us fund this vital work — so when you race here, you’re doing more than just karting.

In 2024, we made a major investment and fully transitioned from petrol to eco-friendly electric karts. This move has brought massive benefits — from cleaner air and quieter races to improved performance and safety for everybody (staff and customers). It was a big step forward, but one that reflects our commitment to both innovation and sustainability. Switching to electric wasn’t just about performance — it was about the planet. By reducing our emissions, energy use, and noise, we’re working to create a better future for the next generation.

We welcome drivers of all experience levels — from total beginners to seasoned racers. With junior and adult karts, we’re the perfect place for family fun, group outings, parties, and corporate events.
